What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness training is a form of meditation practice that aims to bring attention to the present moment and embrace it without judgment.

The ability to be more mindful, to just let your soul dangle and to be more relaxed is not only an effective tool to let go of thoughts and free yourself from thought loops, but also has many other health effects.

It has been proven that mindfulness meditation can increase concentration, performance and satisfaction.

Meditation has a direct and indirect positive effect on the cardiovascular system and improves stress management skills (MBSR = mindfulness based stress reduction). Numerous studies provide impressive evidence of these positive effects.

In short – mindfulness practice does not pursue an esoteric goal and we do not use it as a vague buzzword for general well-being, but it is the starting point of comprehensive physiological relaxation reactions of the organism.

Effects of Mindfulness Training

Modern training in mindfulness and self-awareness has an impact on different areas such as health, stress, productivity, emotional well-being, dealing with others, happiness and sleep.

Overall, it can be a valuable tool for promoting health and well-being and with little regular effort trigger long-lasting, noticeable effects completely free of side effects.

And…mindfulness can be trained. Improved self-awareness makes you more empathetic, open minded and improves the ability for self-reflection. It helps to deal with stress and improves emotional well-being.
